Through the Coldwell Banker Island Properties Foundation, we aim to empower individuals and communities across Hawaii by supporting community development, housing attainability, and environmental preservation. Our “Real Estate for Change” grants initiative is a testament to this mission, offering vital support to non-profits dedicated to these causes.
These grants are designed to provide financial assistance to non-profits across Hawaii fostering positive change and development within our island communities. Here’s how the program works:
- Grant Pool: Each island has a grant pool of up to $2,500.
- Selection: Up to three organizations per island may be selected to receive grants.
- Eligibility: Nominated organizations must be 501(c)(3) entities.
- Nominations: All agents and staff at Coldwell Banker Island Properties (CBIP) are eligible to nominate non-profits.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with our pillars: Community development, housing attainability, and environmental protection.
- Organizational need: The financial need and the potential impact of the grant on the organization.
- Community impact: The tangible benefits the organization brings to the community.
